The construction crew spent the day loading block and sifting sand for the guys to lay the block wall. Then they decided that we could have a hand at the masonary and work slowed down but now we can all go home and build a wall by ourselves! Monday we all went to Trapichito, an isolated village that in order to reach you have to go through 3 creeks (one a small river).  They medical team saw over 120 patients and VBS played with more kids than we could count. Today we had a lot to pack into one day including a trip to La Majada for worship and a medical clinic, however once again we had to work on plan B. The rain hit hard this morning, Bill discovered there may be a tropical depression going of Nicaragua today. As you can see from our gear, we expect lots of mud and rain. We started the day in Knoxville, some got a quick bite to eat.  Just bagels and coffee for such an early morning. During our flight to Houston, TX, we were offered chocolate chip muffins and drinks.   Once we arrived in Houston, we had about 2 hours and most of us were HUNGRY.  We dined on a variety of items, such as bar-b-que, potato salad, french-fries and the occasional bagel.  Only in Texas

I have been trying to make sure I have all my items in my bag and then I realized I didn't have my boots, sunscreen or bug spray!  What else am I forgetting? The team spent the evening packing all the team bags for the trip. Now if we can all get our own bags packed! Only four days until we leave, we are all excited to see the opportunities God as laid in front of us during this trip. Please be in prayer for us as we leave Friday (very early!) morning.
